Letter from the Pastor
Dear Friends,
I continue to be inspired by Maya Angelou’s words: “While I know myself as a creation of God, I am also obligated to realize and remember that everyone else and everything else are also God’s creation.”
This Sunday we will be reminded that we are God’s beloved creation as we celebrate the baptism of Jesus. As we’ve done in the past, we will reaffirm our baptismal promises in a special ritual during our worship services. Being named as God’s beloved is a gift, and although sometimes we don’t feel worthy, God’s love always has the last word.
Please join us on Sunday as we worship together at 8:00 a.m. in the Micah Chapel and 10:00 a.m. in the Meetinghouse or you can worship online.
Friends, we belong to God, and we belong to each other. Thanks be to God!
