Renowned for its passionate and musically stirring performances, the Marrazza-Cart Duo will feature Philadelphia’s exhilarating flutist, Robert Cart, performing with pianist Gaylien Chun. As an advocate of new music performing throughout the United States and at esteemed venues such as Carnegie Hall, Robert Cart will feature Coleman’s Fanmi Imèn (2018), based on the Haitian Creole translation of the title of Maya Angelou’s renowned poem Human Family, which will be read in its entirety prior to its performance.
