Dear Friends,

A couple of years ago when we gathered for worship on the Sunday after Christmas, these were the words we said together.

It is still Christmas!

Joy is still loose in the world,

Love is lodged in hearts,

And peace is still our fervent hope.

It's still Christmas,

Though the presents are all unwrapped,

The batteries have run down,

And family members have returned home.

It's still Christmas,

For God begins anew,

Giving us a baby to care for

And calling us to live with tender compassion,

gentle care and overflowing love!

The story of Christmas continues because we show up, share it and live out the values of our faith – hope, joy, peace and love. Each and every day we are called to show tender compassion, gentle care and overflowing love to people near and far.

We invite you to join us this Sunday as we worship together. We have one service at 10:00 a.m. in the Meetinghouse, or you can join us online.

The bulletin, large print bulletin and announcement slides are available on our website. You can watch any of our livestreamed or recorded services on our YouTube channel.

During the service, we will sing, pray, listen and commission our faithful folks who will be going on our adult/alumni mission trip in early January.

Friends, it is still Christmas, and together we get to worship and serve together!

Blessings, Kate

Our First Church family of faith enjoys worshipping together, and we hope you will join us! On most Sundays our worship services are at 8:00 am in the Micah Chapel and 10:00 am in the Meetinghouse and livestreamed (and are also available for viewing later).
