Pink rose and the words "Trust in God"

Dear Friends,

We trust we will see you at worship on Sunday at 9:00 a.m. in the Meetinghouse and online!

They say trust is both durable and fragile – something that can hold together through the most difficult challenges but also be broken in a single moment. But when trust is present, it can do pretty incredible things. The author William P. Young wrote, “Trust is the fruit of a relationship in which you know you are loved.”

We are told repeatedly to trust in God and are given numerous examples in our scriptures of people who trusted in God even when facing overwhelming odds. On Sunday, Rev. Peggy Allen will explore this topic with us as we dig into the story of David and Goliath. But what does it mean to trust in God? How does that look today? Most of us don't have to slay giants in our day-to-day life...or do we?

Join us for a lively worship service at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday as we ask these questions and more.

Kindly,

Pastor Andrew

Our First Church family of faith enjoys worshipping together, and we hope you will join us! Our Sunday worship services are at 9:00 am in the Meetinghouse and livestreamed (and are also available for viewing later).
